Hawk's got a chicken

This was from a distant memory of a tune called Lynchburg Town..and I can't remember who sung it or where. If I had to guess it's maybe from the Early Revival period, Fuzzy Mountain, maybe New Lost City Ramblers, or the Highwoods String Band...those early recordings of their versions of the tunes the Old People played and recorded sometimes on 78's. It all went west after that.

So, the actual tune may be different in some ways, haha. we seem to play this version ok, for now .

There are others called Going To Town, Goin Downtown, and Lynchburg...so..the Folk Process is alive and well.
